About Us

My photo
Kootenay Mountain Running
Welcome to trail running adventures in the Kootenay's. Although based out of Nelson, BC I like to get information out to all those interested in exploring the amazing terrain we have in the area. I figure if we can inspire even one person to get out into the mountains and enjoy running the trails, then I suppose this Blog was worth it. Bill Harbord and I also like to put on a couple of fun trail running races a year to raise money for great local causes and to introduce runners to new trails. I hope some of these stories inspire you to get out and challenge yourself. Happy Trails- Randy Richmond
